This Pet Proof door lock is designed for round base lever-style handles, compatible with both left and right side handles. It allows the door to be opened by lifting the handle, making it an excellent choice for renters as there is no adhesive or glue residue to clean up after removal.

Compatibility: Fits most standard-sized round door handles 2 5/8 inches – 65 mm. Ensure your door handle can open the door when lifted upward.

Installation Instructions:

Remove the doorknob.
Slide the Pet Proof device behind the doorknob.
Reinstall the doorknob, leaving the screws slightly loose.

Rotate the device so the raised portion is below the lever, and the lever just barely touches the raised portion.
Tighten all screws.
Test to ensure the device doesn’t slip. If it slips, tighten the screws further. If it cannot be tightened enough to prevent slipping, do not rely on the lock for safety.
